ELECTIVE SURGERIES

On our surgery days which are every Tuesday our surgery patients will drop off between 8am-9am. We close our doors from 9am-3pm and forward the phones so this allows us to give each surgery pet the undivided attention needed without distractions. All of our patients go home the same day before 5pm.

All elective surgeries include the following: Day of Exam by Dr. Scott Griffith, Hospitalization, Preanesthetic Bloodwork, Preanesthesia meds, Pain Injections before and after surgery, IV catheter, IV fluids, ECG/Pulse Oxygen/Blood Pressure/Respiration digital monitoring, Antibiotic Injection, Propofol induction and Isoflourane Gas Anesthesia, and surgical technician throughout the surgery monitoring all the patients vitals and also during the recovery stage.

*Due to Dr. Griffith's 35 years of surgical experience, your pet's surgery will be performed efficiently and will result in a shorter time under anesthesia, thus reducing risks associated with prolonged anesthetic procedures.

Testimonials

Feedback from our clients

  • "great first experience! I was visiting New Orleans on my way to Miami and needed to get my pup checked up and a prescription for Heartgard. They fit me in same day and were extremely accommodating. Scott Griffith was the vet that took care of us and he was informative, nice, and super helpful!"
